Enchanting and Endlessly Creative: Spirited Away
Perhaps one of the best and well-known Japanese animated movies, Hiyao Miyazaki's Spirited Away , incorporates elements of love, kindness, and generosity in conjunction with the complexity of animation and how Miyazaki's imagination and endless creativity produces a piece of work that is magical and enchanting for the viewer. Spirited Away was released in 2002 to audiences in Japan, and became so popular that it was then released to the rest of the world in which Miyazaki won several awards because of its captivating storyline and graphics. It appeals to other cultures and audiences because of the installation of Western influence; texts such as Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland and Homer's Odyssey to embellish a narrative that is alluring and exciting for different audiences and cultures to experience.
