Review: How I Met Your Mother
How I met your mother is an American comedy television show
that is guaranteed to make you lose track of the day. The 20 minute episodes
and the hilarity of the storyline make it a show that can be eagerly
binge-watched, or alternatively, something you can put on to pass the time.

The show follows Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), a hopeful young
architect trying to succeed in his career and his love life in the beloved city
of New York. The show is told with a voiceover narrator, as Ted recounts the
story to his kids of “How I met your mother”. It begins after Teds best friend Marshall
(Jason Segel) proposes to his girlfriend Lily (Alyson Hannigan), and Ted makes
it his quest to find “the one” and is convinced she is somewhere in New York.
Accompanied by his friend Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) who has endlessly
hilarious jokes, a fetish for suits, and a playbook that is full of the best
lies to pick up women, Ted embarks on his journey to find love. Though it
sounds sexist, its possibly one of the funniest parts of the whole show.
After meeting Robin (Cobie Smulders), Ted is convinced they
are destined, and spends almost the whole show talking about his love for her.
However when it becomes apparent that perhaps they aren’t meant to be, Ted
seeks help from Barney, who eagerly accepts the title of “Wing Man Bro”.

If you’re in the mood for a laugh, How I Met Your Mother is
the first stop, its hilariously witty and outrageously entertaining. The only
downside to the show is the ending… But no spoilers here!
4 Stars!
